Long before satellites and computerized weather services, Soviet sea captains depended on thermographs like these to keep their ships and crew safe from inclement weather.
The complex system of chambers in these 40s - Vintage Thermographs and Barographs sensed the subtle changes in atmospheric temperature and pressure. The data was captured on the recording wheel by way of an integrated clock drive and pen arm device.
Given mark of the Thermograph was used on court of the military fleet of the SOVIET UNION basically.
Use for analysis air temperature of week and control ship arsenal temperature.
The Metal Thermometer mechanism still works and shows differences of temperature.
This Thermograph was produced  for Soviet Navy in 1953. 
Good  Working and Visual Condition. 
This Thermograph came from a Museum in Sevastopol.
